The story of Bárbara and Simón began in 2017, when their paths crossed and, from that very first encounter, they knew there was something different between them. They fell in love quickly and deeply, as if they had known each other all their lives.

From the beginning, Teseo was also there—Bárbara’s beloved Pomeranian, who had been an essential part of her life even before meeting Simón. With his tenderness, intelligence, and loyal character, Teseo was a silent witness to the couple’s first steps. Over time, he naturally became their inseparable companion, by their side through every stage.

In October 2018, during a dreamlike road trip along the California coast, Simón proposed to Bárbara. It happened on a cliff overlooking the shimmering ocean, bathed in golden sunset light and surrounded by wild greenery—a place chosen with the heart, reflecting everything they are: lovers of nature, beauty in simplicity, and soulful moments. There, with the wind and sea as their witnesses, they sealed a promise.

In January 2020, they celebrated their civil wedding in Chile, on a magical summer afternoon at an estate nestled in the foothills of the Andes, surrounded by flowers and mountains. It was a radiant day, where everything seemed in perfect harmony. As the sun began to set, they exchanged vows under the open sky, amidst trees, blooms, and loved ones. Every detail was crafted with love, and nature became the perfect backdrop to say “I do” on one of the most beautiful days of their lives.

That same year, however, also brought deep sorrow. In March 2020, Simón’s father, Armin, passed away—and in July, Bárbara lost her father, Roberto. These immense losses left a lasting mark on their hearts. In the midst of grief and absence, they supported each other in silence, with tenderness and respect. They learned how to walk through pain as a couple, holding one another through the hardest moments with love.

Since then, their life together has been a journey of discovery. They are deeply united by their love of travel, exploring new places, finding hidden restaurants, cooking together, and diving into the unknown. Their first trip as a couple was to New York, and they haven’t stopped exploring the world since—collecting memories and places that are now part of their shared story.

In January 2024, life gave them its greatest gift: their son, Ludwig Augusto. His arrival changed them forever. Becoming parents revealed to them a deeper dimension of love. It helped them grow, filled them with purpose, and showed them that life’s true beauty lies in the essentials. They rediscovered each other as a couple from a new place—as mother and father—admiring and loving one another even more.

Today, they continue to build their life together, accompanied by Teseo and Ludwig, with hearts full of gratitude.

That’s why, in September 2025, they will celebrate their religious wedding in the charming village of Ettal, in the Bavarian region of Germany—a place that embodies everything they love: nature, history, beauty, and that magical atmosphere that surrounds life’s most meaningful moments.
